Proud to be part of a winning team of professionals, in a place that puts our patients first!
This heartwarming video is only one small example of the amazing things our EP group does. A group that I’m proud to call my professional family.

Further evidence that we need to do better phenotyping of “wide QRS”. Lowest hanging fruit that would be considered precision medicine is to understand conduction system (patho)physiology.

By echo, myPACE had favorable cardiac remodeling with⬇️LV wall thickness ? mass‐to‐volume ratio, and small ⬇️LVEF within nl range.
This may explain improvements in heart failure‐related quality of life and physical activity with myPACE.

And congratulations to this dream team who both matched into EP at Tufts Medical Center! We are so happy that you’re staying and can’t wait to ask you all of our coupling interval questions in the years to come.

Not all patients with “heart failure” need or benefit from beta blockers. Our analysis showing the potential for an increased risk for HF hospitalization with BB in patients with higher EFs (particularly over 60%). authors.elsevier.com/a/1h0iu7tD%7EZ…

11/ Step 7 (continued):
(5) Is the patient on a nitrate or pulmonary vasodilator? Discontinue if possible
(6) Is the patient on a beta-blocker? Wean off unless using for AF, angina, or MI, or other non-HFpEF indication

Great points on both sides of ongoing best form of CRT debate. This is why it is so exciting to watch and participate. In the end, patients will win. Many 1:1 studies like LeftvsLeft RCT needed and underway. Maybe one day, it will be called POBiV (plain old BiV).
