Our paper got accepted in Foreign Policy Analysis Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA) Journal! In this paper, we failed to replicate the major finding of one of the important studies on audience costs, Levy et al. (2015). You can read the preprint version here: preprints.apsanet.org/engage/apsa/ar…

New at Journal of Politics @[email protected]: journals.uchicago.edu/doi/10.1086/72…. We argue many foreign policy differences attributed to regime type, such as democracies being more cooperative, are driven by a state’s geopolitical environment, rather than its domestic institutions.
