But it needs massive scale up 2 meet new needs of communities after Ban. An opportunity we did not have before, 2 reduce drugs from #Afghanistan 2 B seized quickly.

#Taliban dfA introduced a Drug Ban in April. So, UN Office on Drugs & Crime reached out to farmers & communities in #Kandahar & #Helmand (together producing 72% of #Afghan opium) to hear the how they feel about the ban and the impact on their lives.
