TBH ScottishPower are so inept & water metre so unreliable I think a swap to a customer supporting energy supplier like Octopus Energy might be the way.
I think we will just stop calling & ScottishPower can listen in court to the previous 12 calls which they say are recorded

Are ScottishPower the worst customer service in the UK?
Their customer service phone system is simply the worst I’ve ever encountered - has anyone else found them impossible to deal with?
We must have done 12 calls spending hours trying to sort the simplest of their errors!!!
12 attempts to get a bill sorted with inept ScottishPower
several attempts with phone centre abroad working to script & saying they can’t transfer to UK
2 getting through to UK who said they’d correct the error but didn’t resulting in further bills
£543 million profit last year!
