In June of 2023, I took a new teaching job 400km away from my family, thinking we’d sell our house and move. It took 9 months to sell my house. I’ve been driving over a 1000km a week. In 2 days I move into my new house. What a school year.

I told my 2 year old daughter that were painting her room pink. She said no! Black! Black is awesome. I said “do you want me to paint your room black?” And she said “yes please”! She then said, “look! A ghost!” Is my kid a goth?

Just listened to Nate Joseph and Dylan Wiliam get granular about meta-analyses! Some of this was over my head, but I got the gist. Meta is least flawed, room for poor interpretation, compare apples to apples. Excellent, nerdy convo!!
