BREAKING: This brilliant speech yesterday by a Columbia professor on the cowardice of the university administration in calling in police to arrest students will be cited throughout history -– and will inspire generations of students for decades to come.

Columbia still on…

In 2017 a local uni had a prof drop out at the last minute, so I got to create a course. I taught the law of blockades, protests, and human, civil, and Indigenous rights in relation to that.
Students loved it.
I bet absolutely no universities would be happy to pick that up now

Hey, let’s hope no one asks David Pecker who was *paying* for all Trump’s catch-and-kill operations during the 2016 U.S. presidential election, because—spoiler alert!—it was the Saudis, who had cut a deal with Don Jr. to illegally interfere in the election in early August 2016.

Happy 'Earth Day.' I never know what to say. Go outside and cover yourself in dust and beg forgiveness. Lay in some damp moss, or swim in the cold ocean. Watch the birds, how they act with joy and purpose.

Then get back to the work of fighting for the Earth.

I'm enjoying the front page of the TC this morning...
finally someone said something to the gas industry about burning and mining fossil fuels, and how they are trying to mislead the public about 'natural' methane being 'a part of a sustainable future'

In case you're wondering when governments knew, Carl Sagan's testimony to Congress in 1985 is as poignant and ignored today as it was then: theanalysis.news/carl-sagan-tes…

How about a private members bills that no public money goes to oil and gas corps for any reason?
No tax breaks, no subsidies, no grants for 'transitioning' or carbon capture or any other bs.

This is how climate change will end civilisation - food, or the lack of it. Google 'the great famine of 1314' if you need help thinking about what people will do when they're hungry.
