🇵🇹 engaged yesterday with Bretton Woods Institutions IMF World Bank & @WTO UN trade & development - New York Office on IFA reform and external debt, welcoming frank dialogue at the UN ECOSOC President FFD Forum and underlining importance of looking into vulnerability and access to concessional finance.

Today Member States continued their discussions on the Multidimensional Vulnerability Index, under the leadership of Antigua & Barbuda NY and Portugal na ONU, focusing on #Scope and Ways to Further Improve the #MVI .

At the UN #SustainabilityWeek ’s global stocktaking on #SDG7 , Portugal reiterated its commitment in advancing the clean energy transition, including through recently concluded debt-for-climate swaps as well as contributions to the Loss and Damage Fund and the Green Climate Fund.

At ECOSOC #YouthForum panel on “Youth & Future of Work”, 🇵🇹 reiterated importance of
- multi-stakeholder partnerships to address youth employment challenges, including with Edu Institutions
- employment & vocational training programs
- engaging youth in decision-making processes
