Protesters UW–Madison are facing serious charges, inc. battery to a police officer.
These charges often can't be substantiated: Last year in Tampa, cops tried to press 'battery to an officer' charges against protesters. All felony charges were dropped.

The @TXDPS can't seem to make up its mind about what bogus charges to bring against a FOX 7 Austin photographer who they arrested for doing his job covering campus protests.
Here's an idea for them: Drop these latest sham charges and don't bring new ones.
