EXACTLY!! And there is ABSOLUTELY NO MME LIMITS on prescribing the addiction meds…which carry the EXACT SAME RISKS as Rx opioid pain meds PLUS the danger of requiring MASSIVE amounts of Rx pain meds for emergency surgeries & injuries!!🤯🤬Forcing CPP onto them is about💰💰!!🤬🤬

My staff approached me because the prior auths are getting overwhelming. With one patient, they spent 90 min trying for PA and still couldn't get approval. Their solution is to hire more staff. Given we're a small FP office, we don't have that budget. The system is broken 1/

Any Prior Authorizations that are eventually approved should be required to be paid at 150% rate. This evens the playing field as the insurance can save 100% of unnecessary expenses and doctors stop having extra work to be under paid for things that are needed.

Thomas Kline MD, PhD If a police badge were a medical license then medical students would not have to spend so many years in school, internship or residency.

Plus policeman/doctors might have to give a thought or two to cutting off pain meds and killing so many of their pain patients.

A major new analysis has been published on 18 years of CDC and Agency for Healthcare Research Quality data for opioid prescribing rates versus opioid-overdose related deaths and hospital ER visits. Prescribing does not cause patient overdoses! See face-facts.org/atip/.
