Prior to the event, we visited the Jali Genocide Memorial in Gasabo District. There, amidst the quiet reverence of the memorial, we paid our heartfelt respects to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi who rest there.

Today at Kigali International Airport, Rwanda Airports (RAC), alongside other aviation stakeholders in Rwanda, united with the families of former colleagues who tragically lost their lives during the Genocide, to mark the 30th commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi. #Kwibuka30

#AFRAA conducted a Sensitization training course for RwandaCAA, RwandAir, Bank of Kigali Official & Akagera Aviation, from 5-7 Feb 2024 on the Convention on International Interest in Mobile Equipment [Cape Town Convention and the Aircraft Protocol].

As part of its mission to support African airports in training and capacity building, ACI Africa accompanied Rwanda Airports (RAC) in the training of its staff.
ACI Africa's expert trained 10 staff in Aerodrome Ground Aids and Airside Operations, from 22 to 31 January 2024.
Congratulations RwandAir for becoming the latest signatory in #Africa to the IATA Safety Leadership Charter.
The Charter is aimed at strengthening organizational #safety culture, which is an area of focus under #FocusAfrica .
