Tomorrow is National Heatstroke Prevention Day, & we join our partners Kids and Car Safety in raising awareness about the risks of 'hot car' deaths among children as temperatures rise. <1,000 children have died from heatstroke in hot cars since 1990 & 7,500 have been injured.

NY: In new data from nhtsagov pedestrian fatalities rose in 2022. We urge the NY State Legislature and leaders Carl E. Heastie and Sen. Stewart-Cousins to ensure Sammy’s Law remains in the budget so Governor Kathy Hochul can sign it. It allows NYC to lower speed limits & protect all road users.
