My 5km walk around the Hugset Wood area this morning had 32 singing Chiffchaff and 4 Blackcap. Arrivals from yesterday/overnight. Also, a few patches of Toothwort through. Barnsley Birders

A good walk with Sorby Nat His Soc today in the woods. Lots of plants, only a few flowering though, and many species of bird (although not loads in number).
Then IDing a few beetles from the other day when the rain came.
