It was an honour to be asked to speak at this event and I left feeling encouraged by how many people gave up their Wednesday evening to hear about conditions in the local prison.

Change is possible. If enough voters care, politicians will care.

I agree with Andrew Malkinson: 'too little, too late' and I echo his call for Alex Chalk KC MP to bring in new leadership at the CCRC.

How many more people have been let down by the CCRC? I await the review of the service with interest.

Victory! Read Andy's thank you message to his 160,000 supporters. Each signature helped him get an unreserved apology from the CCRC, which prolonged his wrongful conviction nightmare: chng.it/NpVDqSSx8z via Change.org UK

I'm writing about class and race in prison - I found that my ethnicity and accent meant I was often treated better. I'd love to talk with anyone who has stories to tell about different, better, or worse treatment.

There’ll be many other innocent people like me who’ve been denied justice by CCRC: Andy Malkinson says as review into the appeals body is expected soon.

Andy was freed last summer after 17 years of wrongful imprisonment.

This announcement could have huge implications and potentially uncover other miscarriages of justice.

Its timing is no coincidence. A major review of the CCRC's handling of Andy Malkinson's case is imminent and they are unlikely to come out of it well
