I am SO TIRED of journalism that does not cite academic sources, in this case a simple phrase acknowledging Hunter's work should have been easy to include.

Very bio-based ideas about race - way too many people internalized the cuadro de castas. I'm white and I see it, so the impact on racialized scholars is undoubtedly 1000% worse.
