Proud to work with thoughtful leaders like Jamie Lim Tyler Rainer, MD Yuan He, MD MPH Joanna Perdomo, MD Katie Nash Caroline J Kistin MD MSc Elizabeth McIntyre Heather Hsu, MD MPH as we reflect not just on inequities, but how to address them. And grateful to AAP Hospital Pediatrics for this new avenue for sharing next steps!
This was such a thoughtful and powerful review of what maternal-fetal surgery & perinatal palliative care are and aren’t, and why the full spectrum of reproductive care—including abortion—remain important for pregnant folks! Thanks Abigail Wilpers, PhD, WHNP-BC for your research and advocacy!
We’re so excited and proud to announce that our founding director Dr. Emily Wang has been named a 2022 MacArthur Fellow ( #MacFellow ) from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation (@macfound)!

I appreciate my NCSP at Yale colleague Abigail Wilpers, PhD, WHNP-BC calling out this congressperson's attempt to use maternal-fetal surgery to advance his agenda. We in healthcare must continue to support families' access to care, whether it's surgery or abortion--and not pit one against the other
Such a cool study, and I'm so glad I was able to catch it! Thank you to my NCSP at Yale co-fellow Avital Ludomirsky, MD, MPP (and her excellent team) for highlighting these important issues!
Every public health worker everywhere in the US should be calling this out and fighting it with all our power. COVID-19 is not over & police do not need more funding than the billions they already have. We can't police our way to public health. #DefundThePolice #FundPublicHealth
Congrats to my NCSP at Yale co-fellow Abigail Wilpers, PhD, WHNP-BC on this important work! Thank you so much for your advocacy and research!
So impressed with this study by my NCSP at Yale co-fellow and @TheBCRP co-resident/co-chief Avital Ludomirsky, MD, MPP! This distinction between being insured and having access is something we see as clinicians and as patients, and I’m glad it’s been quantified here. We can (and must) do better!
