Just finished this, it’s a masterpiece, to quote Esther Rutter it’s about ‘love, language, landscape, stories, people and purpose.’ These are woven together expertly. Rarely have I been so entranced by a book. Highly recommend!

Loving 'All Before Me' by Esther Rutter Granta Books - a really thoughtful and uplifting read. Takes me right back to Wordsworth Grasmere Michael McGregor Jeff Cowton, friends made in Grasmere, and wonderful memories of dear Robert and Pamela Woof.
