A 2nd vessel of @wckitchen & Open Arms has left Cyprus bound for #Gaza w/ aid. Their determination to save lives is admirable: people in Gaza are starving. It’s ever more urgent that all land routes are opened to full, safe humanitarian access to prevent the spread of famine

This shows that the #UNSC resolution asking for an immediate ceasefire, a full humanitarian access and a reinforced protection of civilians must be immediately implemented.

I pay tribute to the World Central Kitchen staff members killed in an Israeli air strike in Gaza.

I condemn the attack and urge an investigation.

Despite all the demands to protect civilians and humanitarian workers, we see new innocent casualties.
