So nice to catch up with Mattia FM Gerli, PhD Giuseppe Calà while in Belgium during #fetalsurgery con eurofoetus
Grateful to the Human Cell Atlas for including our work in their official publication list. This is such a honour!
Looking forward to see more amniotic fluid cells data to the atlas!

Great to see our manuscript cited in nature news.
Fetal fluids are a precious source of epithelial progenitors. They can be easily collected, and used to derive patient-specific epithelial organoids, without touching the fetus!

The generation of primary fetal #Organoids from epithelial stem cell populations, resembling their tissue of origin, offers the possibility of assessing later gestational stages, currently inaccessible beyond the limits of pregnancy termination nature.com/articles/s4159…
Thrilled about our Cell Stem Cell review on adult stem cells (ASCs) with #TeamIHB 's Joep Beumer. 6 biological hallmarks define their regenerative capabilities and provide insights into tissue-specific strategies for tissue maintenance. Paper👉🏻bit.ly/4aWXbIX

What’s better than a poster? Two posters!
Tbt to Giuseppe Calà presenting our Amniotic Fluid Organoids work at the EMBO Events symposia on Organoids modelling last week.
Intense stem cell science, insightful and interactive discussions, and lots of fun at StemCell Summer School.
So happy that the faculty and students were so inspiring.
Thanks so much to the amazing organizers Kim Jensen, Sally Lowell @[email protected], Austin Smith, Jenny
