In 2017 we demonstrated an important contribution of the 22q11.2 microdeletion (a.k.a. #DiGeorge ) to #CAKUT , specifically kidney hypoplasia/dysplasia, and identified #CRKL as the main genetic driver of kidney defects. We published it in the NEJM and back-to-back similar results
