A highly skilled nursing workforce delivering in excess of 84 million consultations each year. Only 50% of this workforce ⬇️ have access to above statuatory sick pay.. paternity and maternity benefits. Radical change needed. The RCN WeGPNs 💙

No sick pay!!!! In General Practice in 2024. No equity with GP colleagues. Many GPNs,desperate to get these roles, have no idea until they interview that it is this bad. Most can't afford that move, so recruitment becomes even more difficult.

It will definitely impact staffing and service delivery ........GPNs will vote with their feet and move back to secondary care and new GPN recruitment will be even harder. Patients will suffer.
