Why don't anti-opioid crusaders advise pharmacists to tell patients their pain med is 'like fentanyl' instead of 'like heroin'? That'd be FAR more effective? There's arguably a strategic legal reason & it has to do with MINIMIZING the role of street fentanyl in the opioid crisis.

Arguably, to cash in on BILLION$ from legitimate pharmaceutical makers, you have to maintain the false narrative that PRESCRIBED opioids are causing opioid deaths, not the STREET FENTANYL that's actually the problem; TALKING POINT #1: Minimize fentanyl's role in opioid crisis.
