Hospital transport can add hours onto that too so issue even worse.

The session focused on 3 topics including improving support during and after treatment and Shared Decision Making.
Orchid Nurse Rob was delighted to catch up with Nurse Specialist Clare Akers at the European Association of Urology Congress in Paris.
Clare was the first person to set up a penile cancer support group in the UK which is still running after 7 years.๐

I think there's a good case for many RT satellite centres with LINACs locally, even if run remotely by a centre of excellence.

Despite being dxd at a 3y centre & offered treatment there I had my surgery Guy's Urology News 2 hrs train journey but world class. Wld not hv be possible for many, but life-changing for me.

Two cycle rides this week training for Ride the Night. A local ride and a really enjoyable cycle along part of @sustrans Route 4 - quiet country roads, more hills than usual and strong winds ๐คฃ 70miles cycled and YTD 472miles for #NHS1000miles
