If you are wondering why voting % in Bengaluru is significantly lower than Karnataka:

A good number of residents go home to vote just like they go home for festivals. Many of them have 2 voter IDs for other purposes

Voter apathy exists but this is also a contributing factor.

The reason why Bengaluru vote percentage is always low. is, at least 20-30% of Voters registered in Bengaluru are those who have their vote in their native also., most of these people prefer voting in their native.

Need a road, mobile tower
Need power, transport facilities
Oppose exclusion from mining region

What a shame that entire villages had to take this drastic step, 75 years after Independence!

Just so you know:

Polling ends at 6PM in Bengaluru

The rulebook says, polling must continue *after 6PM* if there is even one voter (or 100) waiting at the booth. I've seen polling continue till 7PM & beyond in some places.

Check your polling center & head to the right room!
