This evening, the #LACoFD hosted the 2024 Valor and Exemplary Service Awards Ceremony at the Pasadena Convention Center, highlighting remarkable Department team members, public safety partners, and Good Samaritans for unwavering acts of heroism, bravery, and admirable service.

FIRE STATION FIRE: Station 164 in Huntington Park caught fire around 4 a.m. Cause under investigation, but LACoFD says it might have started with an engine. 9 firefighters were inside, none injured. The second-alarm fire was knocked down a little after an hour.
