We have 6 nurses on the floor tonight…had 7, our float nurse passed out and left. So down to 6. Our staffed is at 12….we have 53 beds. None of which are blocked off. I have 5 (FIVE) patients with 2 (TWO) LVADs (one being brand new) on a STEPDOWN. WITH NO TECH. This isn’t safe.
