We spend a wonderful and fruitful hour taking part in the RSPB Learning #BigSchoolBirdwatch at Reay Primary School. We loved seeing the great tits zipping through the bare branches.

Today we had great fun making bird feeders ready for our #Bigschoolbirdwatch next week. BBC Springwatch which birds do you think we are most likely to see? We are in rural Cornwall. We can't wait to watch #Winterwatch tomorrow!

Dosbarth🦔visited forest school this afternoon, we were looking closely for the birds that visit our forest school area. We noticed Jackdaws, Robin,Great tits and a Blackbird all can be counted for our #BigSchoolBirdwatch We made sure that our feeders were filled💚 #OL

Dosbarth🦌 created some beautiful pictures of their favourite garden bird today using water colours💚We have been busy preparing for our #Bigschoolbirdwatch by placing out food regularly and making sure the bird bath is topped up with water, especially as it’s been so cold💚 #OL

Dosbarth🐰visited forest school this afternoon and our preparations for the #BigSchoolBirdwatch continued. It’s so heart warming to observe the children waiting so patiently for Robin to make an appearance and also showing much excitement when spotting our garden birds💚 #OL

The annual RSPB RSPB BigSchoolBirdwatch Reay Primary School 20 birds of 9 different species spotted on a glorious frosty morning.The children broke the ice on the pond to help the birds and other animals living in our garden. A pair of robins thanked us with beautiful singing!
