The BMJ editor in chief excoriates: the field of pediatric gender-transition treatment for having set the bar “too low” in designing and executing studies of a treatment that, he notes, has “life altering” effects; and WPATH for having relied on an “unacceptable evidence base.”

Many treatments prescribed for children are inadequately researched & tested.

This BMJ article shows 45% of drugs prescribed to children aren’t licensed for use on them.
Trans kids on the other hand, their treatment needs a different level of evidence.

Curious double standard

A very important paragraph from The BMJ’s response to the is this, which responds directly to trans activists’ claims that positive studies about puberty blockers were overlooked. In fact, those studies were of shockingly poor quality. The BMJ

Cass spent 4 yrs writing her review. The BMJ here explain evidence/lack of evidence. All the usual suspects say they know better. About 90% girls and 80% boys referred to Gids were gay/bi. How do you justify sterilising them? Can you still not see this?

Read the summary of the report itself, read authoritative sources like the BMJ (link below) and pay little heed to obviously bad-faith actors making hyperbolic comparisons would be my suggestion. There's no need for confusion.
