Another (SCOTS DG) wear black on their hats to mark death of their Col, Nicholas II.

...and WMIK/Jackal in 3 ‘new’ Lt Cav Regiments in the ‘adaptable Forces’ of 1XX. There was no CONEMP for Lt Cav then (and still isn’t to this day), and cynics suggested that Lt Cav was just a means for the RAC to retain 3 capbadges, and exploit an otherwise redundant UOR fleet

A long day yesterday, but fantastic to meet such inspiring young soldiers from all sorts of trades & capbadges at our Pilot Selection Board. Those selected will start flying training in 2023 & become our next generation of NCO AH and Wildcat pilots. Good luck #FlyFightLead 🚁
