Delighted to meet Harebells (Campanula rotundifolia) in the wonderful Burren last week. You could argue that they're blue, but I think on the purple end of the blue spectrum! #purpleingrasslands
As a child my favourite grass was Holcus lanatus (Yorkshire Fog). Even now it's one of my #MyFavouriteGrass I love it's purple pyjamas stripes at the base, it's soft downy leaves and it's full flower/seed head - great for sprinkling...anywhere! #GreatIrishGrasslands
Spent the day burning up in the Burren ! Fantastic introductory walk for #GreatIrishGrasslands saw an autumn gentian, broad leaved helleborine orchid amongst so many others!
