Starting to expand outwards on my #trenchjournal collection. This is from 1900 and what could be called a modern regimental journal.
New addition to my collection; an original issue of the #trenchjournal The Mudhook (along with a loose page from the January 1918 issue) . This was the journal of the 63rd(Royal Naval) division who saw action in both #gallipoli and the western front. #ww1
Here is a surprise. After months of searching, I have at last found something funny in a German #Trenchjournal ;-) .A nice piece of Gallows humour - or GalgenHumour , from the Fieldzei Tung der 4 Armee, 13 September 1918.

Spencer Jones You can find most of the #trenchjournal tropes such as 'soldiers-alphabets', 'things we want to know' in there. And, contributions were from all ranks, and from two fronts. 2/2
