Tay5G, a #TayCities Region Deal collaboration with the Scotland 5G Centre & industry partners, has announced the winners of its Challenge Fund.
The successful projects aim to bring innovations in fashion, agritech, smart cities & broadcasting.

Dundee Heritage Trust has unveiled a dramatic upgrade to the gallery and previously inaccessible dome area of Discovery Point after receiving funding from the Tay Cities Region Deal.

A new drone collection & delivery service is being trialled in Angus Council by Scotland’s first drone port, Mercury Drone Ports and NHS Tayside.
The trials will transport equipment, samples & medicine between healthcare facilities in Angus & Dundee.

First cyberQuarter jobs announced as work on hub begins Abertay University: bit.ly/3CmU3Uz
Building work has now begun on two plant science innovation centres James Hutton Institute.
The centres are being supported by £45m from UK Government Scotland and £17m from Scottish Government as part of the Tay Cities Region Deal.

The University has received £1 million in funding from Wolfson Foundation to help furbish the Tay Cities Regional Innovation Hub. The Hub will foster the commercialisation of world-leading science while anchoring new biomedical companies and jobs in the city.
