The action seen so far to prevent the deaths by suicide of autistic people is simply not good enough. We at Autism Centre of Excellence at Cambridge (ACE) are committed to making change happen and have been joined by partners and friends in telling the Government what autistic people need.

Reform of welfare is impossible unless understanding of autism is at its heart. More than 8 in 10 autistic people experience mental health problems. Support must be prioritised instead of already-vulnerable people pressured more by a system which has already failed to help them

A real privilege to have taken up this opportunity. Autism Centre of Excellence at Cambridge (ACE) has big plans to prevent the avoidable deaths, tackle stigma and break down the barriers to autistic people leading the best lives they can.

This is a great campaign. Takes the issue of discrimination and poor attitudes towards older people and really focuses it into a specific point that is a cause of these, and THEN provides practical changes that would lead to improvements. Kudos and power to @ageing_better

The Moonshot Vision set out what people told us that a society that works for autistic people looks like; our new strategy makes clear the part we are going to play in making that happen. I can not wait to get started.
