A new population of the very rare & endangered Fiery Clearwing moth has been identified at Elmley. Fascinating morning spent surveying their
foodplant & counting eggs to establish population size with the volunteers from Kent butterflies. 5 stunning males seen (under license)

Beautiful wild brown trout took one of Nigel Nunn ‘s handtied emergers on the Sarca River in the #Dolomites . A fantastic fish preservation project is happening here thanks to local fly fishing experts.
