We have a system of corrections, not punishment. Fair & Timely Parole (S307/A162) and Elder Parole (S2423/A2035) provide individuals an opportunity to be seen by a parole board to demonstrate their transformation and we need to pass them this session!

The fashion industry has never been globally regulated and is responsible for close to 8% of all GHG emissions. We need the #FashionAct (A4333) to pass this session to require brands selling in NYS to adopt and comply with standards of environmental sustainability! #ActOnFashion

As we work toward our CLCPA climate goals and electrification of vehicles, we need to build capacity for EV charging. Proud that my bill to increase EV charging stations in state-owned parking facilities passed the Assembly today!

Great news! Thanks to New York State Senate, Sen. Stewart-Cousins, Lea Webb, & Senator Liz Krueger for passing the bill to close a loophole in NY’s  #fracking  ban law to include banning fracking with CO2! Now it's up to Governor Kathy Hochul to sign it into law to protect our health and water.

NY financial aid has not kept pace with inflation, creating barriers to accessing public higher education. Increasing TAP funding and expanding eligibility is good for students, our economy & workforce. #TurnOnTheTAP
