So excited to hear from Priska Neely that the writer of #NewAmsterdam listened to our Reveal investigation and read Darshali Vyas' paper into the use of race in the VBAC calculator and how it may be leading Black and Latinx women into c-sections they don't need. 📻 -> 📺!!!

Race-based clinical algorithms may use overly-simplistic and possibly racist assumptions to adjust a patient’s medical results. We want AHRQ to review the use of these algorithms to make sure they aren’t worsening health outcomes for people of color. wired.com/story/lawmaker…
