It is so outrageous, dangerous, & terrifying that people w/ SCD won’t go in to get care when they need it. It can’t be this way.

Memej99-SickleCellLifeOfMemej Andrea Anderson I can remember taking my goddaughter’s best friend to the ED when they were like 12 & spent the night with me and then a second time when they were in HS. Looking at how differently she was treated the 2 times was a perfect example of the harm these prescribing cuts have had.
