Thank you to Richard from Medical Aid for Palestinians for speaking to UNISON’s health conference about the situation in Gaza.
Gaza is the most dangerous place in the world for health workers and UNISON is proud to continue supporting MAP’s work for Palestinians. #NotATarget
Our NHS is beyond broken & evidence that workers are being underpaid for the work they carry out is simply unacceptable. Well done UNISON Eastern for taking up the fight on this. It’s time for change, it’s time to fix our NHS & only The Labour Party can deliver it! #GeneralElectionN0W
More #PayFairForPatientCare news. Healthcare assistants from Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust met with the Chief Executive today following a consultative ballot for action of UNISON members. Let's hope Matthew Hopkins 💙 listens 👂 and follows up their concerns. Unison - BSM Health Branch
Toddler Anhar from north Gaza had puffy cheeks & bright eyes. 4.5 months of Israel assault turned him into skin & bones. He died of starvation on Tuesday.
I can’t even begin to process the horror his parents may have gone through being unable to feed him.

This appalling The New York Times headline, which in an instant erases the 23,000 Palestinian dead in Gaza & the flattening of a metropolis as populous as South London, may win the Gold Medal 🏅 for most biased, insensitive and bigoted headline of the war, in a very, very crowded field.
'I'm furious.
Furious that those with power shrug at the humanitarian nightmares unleashed on 1 mil. children.
Furious that disease is as well-armed as the warring parties, but it gets no attention.”
