We’ve been busy installing water quality monitoring equipment on the @riverchess today. We now have a complete network of sensors to help identify WQ issues throughout the catchment and monitor the impact of improvements made through the #smarterwatercatchment initiative
Tony Booker of the Colne Valley Fisheries Consultative gave a fantastic talk last week to our #SmarterWaterCatchment citizen scientists about how Signal Crayfish are causing environmental damage to our UK Rivers, also discussing attempted removal methods.
