Having to take time out of work to sit here for 20 mins (and again later&at lunch) in case there’s a fire whilst the waking watch man is on break.

Robert Jenrick Too little too late. Needed a #wakingwatch fund LAST year.

For 12 months, I begged Robert Jenrick to help. He didn’t.

Today, I sat in my empty flat one last time before I surrendered my keys.

Tonight, I will sleep on my Dad’s sofa.

I am bankrupt.

I am homeless.

I am broken.

Five fire engines and an alarm going off in our communal area. However, it’s not triggered the alarms in our flats, and nothing from the waking watch. Confusing and not at all reassuring. #WakingWatch #BuildingSafetyCrisis

However, as my constituents have found, too many constructions aren't being awarded necessary funding

I asked @mhclg to commit to funding remediation on all buildings

Their response was extremely dissapointing

I witnessed London Fire Brigade discussing the procedures with a member of the WW. He didn't have a clue what the actual policies are.

Better yet they looked in his 'emergency kit' and the airhorn was still in its packaging and he couldn't open it!

So whilst we have #wakingwatch officers at our block costing a fortune, 2 men managed to climb the gates to the car park & try to steal a Vespa parked there in full view of a glass door leading to reception. Where are these officers? This could have been someone starting fire 😡

After 9 long months our #wakingwatch has finally gone and I can now stop leaving the building via the bin room!🥳

As of 6pm Friday we went from 1 person undertaking our #wakingwatch to 2. The costs for this is £20k per month + VAT and is being recovered through the service charge. Interim costs that we cannot afford and are not necessary according to our EWS report! #EndOurCladdingScandal
