#WorldCurlewDay (21st April) is a global initiative raising awareness about curlews. Within the Americas, the 4 occurring species are all considered of conservation concern. Whimbrel numbers steeply decline within the Americas Atlantic Flyway, dropping nearly 50% in 15 years.
