A fantastic start to the 2nd day of the #HAconf23 led by Christine Counsell which established a call to arms to keep the true principles of formative assessment at the heart of assessment in History. Loved the idea of foregrounding assessment that is 'so subtle that you don't notice it'

Anyone else still sadly keeping hold of their #HAconf23 lanyard, like a dreamy teenager who refuses to take off their festival wristband, or is it just me??

Finally got around to writing our script and presentation for #haconf23 Featuring some bad jokes (by me) and a clip from Aladdin. Loved working with Teni Gogo on this project and hopefully share some useful ideas with a small (ish) crowd on Saturday.

Who doesn't love starting their morning at work listening to the amazing mary beard unpick Roman emperors at the Historical Assoc conference? I'm currently thinking about the layout of every dictator palace I've ever been to to see if they followed classical wisdom! #HAconf23
