One of my favourite ways to use #thinkingclassroom is learning phonemes. Ss write as many words as they can think of with a certain sound (here it is the long a) and then show which letters make the sound, then we consolidate by Ss explaining all the possible letter combos

After my last class, I sat in my classroom for about 10 minutes and stared at the work on the 7 whiteboards we used in class. For 80 straight minutes, my Rowlett High School worked on a single task: Solve the mobile. These #ThinkingKids crushed it today. Love my #ThinkingClassroom !
