#ICYMI Single-use wet wipes containing plastic are to be banned across the UK!
This ban will benefit many different Scottish species, including the Leatherback Turtle, #NatureChampioned by Brian Whittle OLY, who can mistakenly eat them thinking that they are food. 🐢

ICYMI: An enormous wind farm, four times the size of Edinburgh, has been proposed off the east coast of Scotland. Along with National Trust for Scotland, Scottish Seabird Centre & Scottish Wildlife Trust, we believe the Berwick Bank development will have a serious impact on our already struggling seabird populations.
Thanks to Marine Conservation Society Basking Shark Champion Stuart McMillan MSP for raising wet wipes in Scottish Parliament
Brilliant to hear Minister Lorna Slater confirm that regulations to ban wet wipes containing plastic will be coming this year!
Thank you to all our volunteers - this win belongs to you!

Great morning spent in a bog! We cannot under estimate the power of our boggy peatlands in carbon sequestration and in enabling biodiversity to flourish.
We even saw frogs, hares, curlews and pheasants 🐸🌿
