#ICYMI Single-use wet wipes containing plastic are to be banned across the UK!

This ban will benefit many different Scottish species, including the Leatherback Turtle, #NatureChampioned by Brian Whittle OLY, who can mistakenly eat them thinking that they are food. 🐢

ICYMI: An enormous wind farm, four times the size of Edinburgh, has been proposed off the east coast of Scotland. Along with National Trust for Scotland, Scottish Seabird Centre & Scottish Wildlife Trust, we believe the Berwick Bank development will have a serious impact on our already struggling seabird populations.

Earlier this week the EU requested consultations with the UK over the decision by Scottish and UK governments to prohibit the fishing of sandeel in our waters. RSPB applauded both governments when they announced the landmark decision in March this year to close Scottish waters
