Great to meet tonight with nurses from the 'NHS Workers Say No' campaign on their fight against the Tory Government's attempt to impose yet more real-term pay cuts on NHS workers.

We stand with them in their fight for pay justice and for a properly staffed & publicly owned NHS!

As the Islington North CLP Officers make clear, it's for local Labour members and affiliates to decide who their parliamentary candidate is.

Today’s NEC decision denies them that democratic right. Islington North CLP must be free to choose the parliamentary candidate it wants.

It is the democratic right of Labour Party members and the affiliated trade unions and socialist societies in the Islington North CLP to choose their Parliamentary candidate.

We urge members of the NEC to uphold this vital democratic right at Tuesday's meeting

They're among the hundreds of thousands of civil servants, teachers, train drivers and university lecturers who are standing up today to say that enough is enough.
