The upper reaches of the #GaywoodRiver not far from its spring sources in #Grimston . You can see the results of years of dredging. But look how the Fool’s Watercress and other riparian plants, when left, begin to create natural meanders that speed up the flow. #chalkstream
Our beautiful #chalkstream with Watery Lane in the background. Just look at its now crystal clear waters with it having been left alone and full of life. Water crowfoot and other riparian plants are thriving. Just as it should be.
