Having just seen BBC Springwatch explaining how cuckoo/hosts are constantly evolving their egg markings - do different cuckoo populations adapt their eggs to specific hosts? RSPB England 🌍

The northern part of Yellowstone National Park is home to abundant wildlife. You may likely see bison, black bear, grizzly bear, big horn sheep, elk, mule deer, pronghorn, moose, and the elusive wolf.

Another lovely end to the day RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands. Harriers a bit quieter & from the way the male was flying low with food but not passing or landing I'm wondering if the nests are getting close to fledgling. Also great view of a reed warbler! @springwatch

Chris Packham Hi Chris, If a female garden bird such as a blackbird dies will the mate continue to tend to the eggs / raise the young alone or does it depend?

Crow mobbing a red kite in blue skies and what felt like the first properly warm morning of the year here in Oxford. Kite held out for longer than they often do but crows persistence got it to move on eventually.

Is it common for SE London parks to have (what I assume are) β€˜wild’ terrapins? This was the only video I managed to get. I also nearly crapped myself when I saw a flock of feral Parakeets fly overhead! Proper blindsided me, my god- and all in one hour!
