An interesting few days supporting Ministry of Defence Police in Portsmouth, witnessing boarding/searching drills and improving #CoastalForces interoperability! The dormant RFA Wave Knight and a sunny HMNB Portsmouth provided the perfect backdrop for training.

#CoastalForcesSquadron Commanding Officers joined the Second Sea Lord Second Sea Lord onboard HMS Victory this morning to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.

Nelson’s innovation, courage and leadership continue to inspire the next generation!

Today in 1805, the Royal Navy defeated the combined forces of France and Spain at Trafalgar.

The tactical brilliance, professionalism, technology and training which underpinned Adm Lord Nelson’s stunning victory have driven and shaped the #RoyalNavy ever since.

HMS Exploit is currently working with HMS EXPRESS and HMS Dasher conducting training for our upcoming Operational Sea Training (OST)
